Sumana Harihareswara is a former Wikimedia Engineering Community Manager whose job is to "nurture the software community that supports the Wikimedia movement".[1] Her interests and activities are rather eclectic; she has written articles for GNOME Journal and Salon, edited a science fiction anthology, written poetry, instructed a class on science fiction, done stand-up comedy, created a music video, and written fiction games. She also wrote Menstruation Products: A Compare-And-Contrast which complains about her having to pay "$25 a year, every year, for being female." On 12 September 2014, Sumana resigned from WMF effective 30 September 2014.
